Imo State University (IMSU) in Owerri has announced the registration for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise on July 22nd, 2025.
Eligibility
– To have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as your first choice in JAMB.
– To have scored at least 150 in the JAMB UTME.
– If you didn’t choose IMSU as your first choice but scored 150 or more, you can still apply if you change your first choice to IMSU at a JAMB CBT center before the application closes.
– For Direct Entry candidates, you need OND/HND/First Degree, ‘A’ Level, or equivalent in relevant subjects.
How to Apply
Applying for the IMSU Post-UTME is easy. Here’s how:
– Go to the IMSU website.
– Click on the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application.
– Enter your JAMB registration number to check if you’re eligible.
– If eligible, make a payment of N2,000 and fill out the form.
– Print the receipt and come back to the website after 24 hours to complete the application.
– You can use IMSU Microfinance Bank for easier access.
– Bring the acknowledgement slip to the screening venue.
Direct Entry Candidates
If you’re a Direct Entry candidate:
– You need to apply online like other candidates.
– You also need to send your OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level results to the Registrar, Imo State University, Owerri.
Aptitude Test
– The date and time for the aptitude test for individual candidates will be announced later.
