Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba has opted for online screening for the 2025/2026 admission exercise in order to relieve prospective candidates/admission seekers of the financial burden and security risk associated with traveling for Post-UTME.

General Provision
1. Registration and upload of O’level results for post-UTME/DE online screening for 2025/2026 academic session begins on Monday August 4th and closes on Friday September 5th, 2026.

2. The PostUTME screening fee is N2000 only.

3. The screening exercise for admission of candidates will be online and shall be administered only on candidates who applied or changed his/her course of study to Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba (PAAU) as institution of First Choice.

4. Only candidates who scored 150 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise. Minimum UTME Eligibility score for individual programmes is listed below.

5. UTME candidates will be screened based on their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) score (70%) and O’level results (30%) only.

6. Candidates must have sat for the appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subjects for their proposed courses of study (correct subject combination).

7. Candidates must possess the basic five (5) O’level credit passes in the relevant subjects in accordance with the University’s entry requirements.

8. It is important that candidates upload their O’level results on JAMB CAPS, as the screening and admission depends on uploading of O’level on JAMB CAPS. This should be promptly done to facilitate admission.

9. Candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may apply but should so indicate. However, such candidates should immediately upload their O’level results as soon as the results are released.

10. Direct Entry (DE) candidates generally require a minimum of upper credit (ND, HND and University Diploma), merit (NCE) and recognized first degree certificate to qualify for eligible programmes in the University.

11. A’level results of Direct Entry (DE) candidates will be subjected to verification on the Integrated PostSecondary Education Data System (NIPEDS) via JAMB’s e-facility handle, as required by JAMB.

12. Any candidate discovered to have been involved in any form of admission irregularities such as double admission and falsification of results, among others, will be denied admission into the Institution and face the risk of prosecution. Should such candidate be admitted, such admission will be withdrawn whenever such irregularity is brought to the attention of the Institution.

The screening exercise
1. Candidates are expected to apply online at https://eportal.paau.edu.ng/ug/candidate. Read the instructions carefully, provide the required information and make payments with ATM debit cards, bank transfers e.t.c. This can be done anywhere.

2. All such candidates must fill in relevant certificates (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB etc.) stating correct examination number, date, type and scratch card PIN.

3. Candidates should preview and confirm that all the information entered are correct before submission.

4. All Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba (PAAU) as institution of First Choice are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise. The minimum entry grade is an Upper Credit for Diplomas.

5. It is mandatory that Candidates upload their O’level results, as no admission will be offered without uploading of O’ level on JAMB CAPS. This should be promptly done to facilitate admission.

6. The screening exercise will commence immediately after the closure of online registration. Thereafter, results will be communicated to candidates through the registration portal.

7. Candidates are expected to monitor their status on JAMB CAPS and the university portal."
