NOTICE TO ALL UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY APPLICANTS

2025/2026 Online Screening Exercise is Now Open!

This is a special announcement for all candidates who applied for admission into Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you registered for UTME or you are a Direct Entry (DE) applicant and you picked Taraba State University as your first choice, this message is for you.

The university wishes to inform you that the online screening exercise for all UTME and DE candidates will begin on 1st August, 2025 and will end on 15th September, 2025. You must complete your application within this period. If you miss the deadline, you may not be considered for admission.

This online screening is very important and is one of the steps you need to take before you can be offered admission into TSU. Please read this guide carefully to understand how to apply and what is required from you.


HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SCREENING

Here are the steps you need to follow to apply for the online screening:

You will need to create an account on the portal. Use your valid email address and a password you can remember. Make sure you double-check your email for spelling errors.

3. Fill in the Online Form

After creating your account, log in and fill in all the required information. Make sure you enter the correct details. You will be asked to upload important documents such as your O’level results, birth certificate, JAMB result, and any other relevant documents.

4. Make Payment Online

Once you fill in the form, the portal will take you to the payment section. You can pay online using your debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve). Follow the instructions carefully to avoid any mistakes.

5. Print Out Your Receipt and Acknowledgement Slip

After payment, make sure you print your payment receipt and acknowledgement slip. Keep these documents safe, as you may need them later.


ELIGIBILITY 

1. Candidates Who Selected TSU as First Choice

You must have chosen Taraba State University, Jalingo as your first choice during your JAMB registration. If TSU is not your first choice, you are not eligible to apply for this screening.

2. UTME Candidates Must Meet the Following Conditions:

You must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.

You must have at least five (5) O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

These credits should not be from more than two sittings (e.g., WAEC and NECO).

3. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates Must:

Have a minimum of Lower Credit in your Diploma, NCE, or IJMB.

Also have at least five (5) relevant O’level credits, including English and Maths, from not more than two sittings.
