IBBUL RESUMES AUGUST 4 AS STUDENTS FACE NEW CONDUCT REQUIREMENT

The management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai, has officially announced the reopening of the institution, following a directive from the Visitor to the University and Governor of Niger State, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago.

According to the announcement, academic activities are scheduled to resume on Monday, August 4, 2025, marking the end of a temporary closure period.

In preparation for resumption, all returning students are required to submit a Letter of Undertaking for Good Conduct and Behaviour. The letters must be formally addressed to the Registrar of the University and include the following information:

-Full Name
Matriculation Number
--Faculty and Department
-Level of Study

In addition to individual students, the directive also applies to all student unions, associations, and groups operating on campus. The letters are to be signed and submitted at the university gates immediately upon resumption.

The university management emphasized that the measure is aimed at reinforcing discipline, ensuring student safety, and promoting uninterrupted academic engagement across the campus.
