The management of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has officially announced that the uploading of the 2025/2026 academic session admission list has commenced on the university’s portal. This marks the beginning of a new phase in the admission process for candidates who applied to the institution through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).
The LASU admission list contains the names of candidates who have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes of the university for the new academic year. Successful candidates on this list have met the required cut-off marks, passed the Post-UTME screening, and satisfied all other admission requirements set by the university and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
How to Check LASU Admission Status on the School Portal
All candidates who participated in the LASU Post-UTME/Screening Exercise are advised to follow the steps below to confirm their admission status:
Visit LASU’s official admission portal via: https://lasu.edu.ng
Navigate to the “Admission List/Status” section.
Select the appropriate category (UTME or Direct Entry).
Enter your JAMB Registration Number and other required details.
Click on “Submit” to view your admission status.
If offered admission, proceed to print your admission letter and follow the instructions for acceptance of the offer.

In addition to the LASU portal, all prospective students are strongly advised to log into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to:
Accept or Reject their admission offer.
Print their JAMB Admission Letteronce the offer is accepted.
To do this:
Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
Log in with your registered email and password.
Click on “Check Admission Status”under the CAPS menu.
Select your examination year and input your JAMB registration number.
Accept your admission if offered.
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
Once you have confirmed your admission on both LASU’s portal and JAMB CAPS, you are required to:
Accept the Offer of Admissiononline within the stipulated deadline.
Pay the acceptance fee as directed by the university.
Proceed with the online clearanceprocess, where you will be required to upload scanned copies of your credentials, including:
O’Level result(s)
JAMB result slip
Birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age
State of origin certificate
Passport photographs
Print all necessary documents for physical verification.
Pay the school fees once the payment portal is activated.
Important Notes for Candidates
Admission is in batches, which means that if your name is not on the first list, you should keep checking the portal regularly for subsequent updates.
Candidates who fail to accept their admission on CAPS may forfeit the offer.
