GUIDELINES FOR THE 2025/2026 FULL-TIME FIRST SEMESTER COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) EXAMINATIONS

The First Semester Examinations for full-time students in the 2025/2026 Academic Session are scheduled to commence on Monday, 26th January 2026.
In preparation for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations, the Lagos State University Senate at its 326th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 8th January 2026 has approved the underlisted guidelines to be adhered to by all students who will be sitting for computer-based examinations.
All concerned students are hereby advised to carefully note and strictly comply with the following guidelines to ensure a smooth, orderly, and hitch-free examination.
i. The Buba Marwa Auditorium shall serve as the holding bay for students writing Computer Based Test examinations at the Lagos State University Computer Test Centre (LASU-CTC). Only students that have been scheduled for CBT shall be granted access into the auditorium.
ii. Students must present valid identification, namely the University ID Card, Examination Docket, and CBT Examination Schedule, for entry into the LASU-CTC. Identity verification shall be carried out by invigilators before and during the examination.
iii. Students must adhere strictly to the examination timetable and report according to the time stated on their examination slip. Students are to arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled time.
iv. Face concealment or covering is prohibited during the examination.
v. Orderly queues must be maintained at all times, and entry and exit shall be regulated by invigilators. All instructions from examination officials must be obeyed.
vi. Complaints relating to clashes between CBT and non-CBT examinations or other examination issues must be reported before the commencement of examinations to Course Lecturers, Course Advisers, Heads of Department, Deans, or Sub-Deans as applicable.
vii. In the event of an emergency, students must promptly comply with all instructions issued by authorised officials.
viii. Students shall exit the examination hall immediately upon completion and must not loiter around the CBT Centre or holding bay.
ix. Students are strongly advised to eat before coming for their examinations to prevent weakness or discomfort before or during examinations.
All students are enjoined to adhere strictly to these guidelines as the University maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward examination malpractice and any form of misconduct.
