The Ogun State Government has declared Monday, January 5, 2026, as the official resumption date for all public and private secondary schools, as well as technical colleges, for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session.
Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, made the announcement in a statement released in Abeokuta. He emphasized that academic activities are expected to begin immediately upon resumption.
Parents and guardians were advised to ensure their children are adequately prepared for the new term.
