FUTA 2026/2027 POST-UTME & DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING – REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
The Federal University of Technology, Akure has opened online registration for its Post-UTME screening for all undergraduate courses in the 2026/2027 academic session.
*Registration Dates*
Starts: Monday, 1st June 2026
Closes: Friday, 3rd July 2026
*Who Can Apply*
1. *UTME candidates* with a minimum score of 180 in the 2026 JAMB exam
2. *Direct Entry candidates* who chose FUTA as their 1st choice
3. Both groups must have at least 5 O’level credits including English and Maths, from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent. You can combine results from max 2 sittings.
*Note on MBBS*
Admission into the MBBS programme, which was previously suspended, has been reinstated. Eligible candidates can now apply.
*How to Apply*
1. Go to http://www.futa.edu.ng for full details
2. Fill and submit the Post-UTME application form online
3. Print your registration slip
*Registration Steps*
- Use your correct JAMB Reg. No. and full name exactly as on your JAMB slip during payment and registration
- After paying, complete the online form on the FUTA website
*Screening Fee*
₦2,000 only. Generate a Remita code and pay at any bank.
*Important Notes*
- Registration must be done before the deadline. Late registration won’t be accepted
- You must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2026 to be considered for admission
- Upload your O’level results to JAMB CAPS by 3rd July 2026. If you don’t, you’ll be disqualified
- Only screened candidates will be considered for admission
