The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the release of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening form for the 2026/2027 academic session. Registration for the exercise will commence on Thursday, June 5, 2026, and close on Friday, July 3, 2026.
The screening exercise is scheduled to hold between Monday, July 27, 2026, and Saturday, August 1, 2026, at designated CBT centres within the Ugbowo Campus of the university.
Eligible candidates must have selected UNIBEN as their first choice in JAMB and scored at least 200 in the 2026 UTME. Applicants are also required to possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable, obtained in not more than two sittings.
The university confirmed that the screening will be conducted via Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates are advised to use a valid email address during registration and ensure all details are correctly filled.
Applicants will be grouped into five categories: Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Arts. Each candidate will later be assigned a specific date, venue, and time, which will be available from Friday, July 17, 2026, on the university portal.
The application deadline is midnight of Friday, July 3, 2026.
