​Eligibility Requirements

​UTME Candidates: Must have chosen UNIMED as their first choice or be willing to change to UNIMED as their first choice. A minimum score of 150 in the 2026 UTME is required.

​JAMB Subject Combination: All courses require English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

​O’ Level Requirements: Minimum of five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE in Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in no more than two sittings.

​Special O’ Level Note: For Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy, the five credits must be obtained in only one sitting.

​Direct Entry (200 Level): Candidates with A-level certificates (Cambridge, JUPEB, IJMB) with a minimum of 10 points, or those with National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Degree holders with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) are eligible.

​Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen years old by September 30, 2026.

​How to Apply

​Visit the University website at www.unimed.edu.ng.

​Click on “Admission” and then “Post-UTME” to access the portal.

​Make payment via the online system using VISA or MASTER Card (Verve cards are not allowed).

​Print the payment receipt.

​Log in to the Application Portal using your 2026 JAMB Registration Number and Payment Transaction ID as the password to complete registration.

​Note: Payment should only be made via the official UNIMED payment platform.

​Screening Details

​Date: Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7, 2026.

Mode: Both virtual and on-site.

Venue: Specific modalities and venues will be communicated to registered candidates via their individual portals.

​Required Items for Screening:

​Printed copy of the 2026 UTME Notification of Results Slip.

​2026 Direct Entry Registration Slip (for DE candidates).

​Printed copy of the completed 2026 Post UTME Screening Slip.
