The Faculty Presidents Forum, FUT Minna, has reaffirmed its decision to boycott all Students' Union Government (SUG) activities until outstanding faculty and departmental dues are fully disbursed.
In a directive issued on June 17, 2026, and addressed to all Faculty Presidents, the Forum stated that the resolution was reached following its meeting held on June 16, 2026, where members reviewed the prolonged issue of non-disbursement of funds meant for faculties and departments.
According to the statement, the Forum's position remains unchanged: "NO DISBURSEMENT, NO PARTICIPATION."
The FPF noted that despite several engagements with the SUG leadership, including meetings held on June 1 and June 16, the concerns of faculties and departments have not been adequately addressed.
As a result, all faculty and departmental associations have been directed to refrain from participating in any SUG-organized activity until the full release of their dues.
The Forum emphasized that the directive is a continuation of an earlier resolution reached on May 22, 2026, and remains its official position pending the disbursement of the funds.
