The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has introduced a mandatory National Identification Number (NIN) verification requirement for all candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Information obtained from the university's admission portal indicates that prospective applicants must successfully verify their NIN before proceeding with the pre-admission screening registration process.
Prospective candidates are therefore advised to ensure that their NIN details correspond exactly with their personal information as captured in official records, particularly their date of birth and names, to avoid complications during registration.
We also encouraged candidates to resolve any discrepancies in their NIN records ahead of the screening exercise to prevent delays or unsuccessful verification attempts.
Candidates who selected UNILORIN as their first-choice institution are urged to carefully follow all registration procedures and ensure that their credentials, including O'Level results and personal information, are correctly uploaded and verified.
