The University of Ilorin has debunked rumors claiming it will suspend admissions into its MBBS programme for the 2026/2027 session.
In a statement signed by Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, the school said the claim is false and misleading. UNILORIN confirmed that MBBS is still on the list of approved courses for 2026/2027, and Post-UTME registration — which covers MBBS applicants — is ongoing.
Management stressed that there is no suspension, and advised prospective students and the public to ignore the rumor and only trust updates from official University channels.
