Following the directive of the Provost, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences has officially relocated with effect from Wednesday, 9th September 2026, from the Ikeja Campus to its new site at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, IDH, Yaba Campus.
The relocation marks a significant step in the College’s commitment to consolidating academic facilities and activities, strengthening academic delivery and providing a more conducive environment for teaching, learning and research.
The new location offers improved infrastructure and greater proximity to relevant teaching hospital facilities, providing an enhanced academic environment for staff and students of the Faculty.
The move also forms part of the College’s preparations for the forthcoming accreditation exercise of the Faculty by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
The Provost, Prof. Olufemi Idowu commended the Faculty Management, staff and students for the seamless transition and reaffirmed the College’s commitment to providing the necessary support to ensure that the Faculty successfully meets the requirements of the forthcoming accreditation exercise.
The new academic session is scheduled to commence in October 2026, with academic activities for the Faculty taking place at the Yaba Campus.
