NECO CHANGES RESULT CHECKING TOKEN POLICY

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has reportedly updated its result-checking token policy. Under the new arrangement, a single NECO result-checking token can now only be used for one (1) check, instead of the previous five (5) checks.

Before now, candidates, parents, schools, cybercafé operators, and other people who help students could use one token multiple times to access and print the same result. With this change, that will no longer be possible.

What this means is that every time someone needs to check or reprint a NECO result, they will have to purchase a new token. The policy shift is expected to affect students who need to access their results more than once, as well as schools and cybercafés that handle bulk result checking for candidates.
