The management of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku–Ozalla, Enugu, hereby notifies the general public that a number of deceased bodies deposited in the hospital mortuary have remained unclaimed for extended periods.
A comprehensive list of the unclaimed bodies has been compiled and made available for public review.
The Department of Morbid Anatomy, UNTH Ituku–Ozalla, further states that the body of the deceased should be claimed from the day of publication of this announcement to 3 weeks after.
Members of the public, relatives, friends, or acquaintances of the deceased are advised to check the published list and proceed to the UNTH Mortuary Department for identification and claim procedures.
To aid wider circulation and help families identify their loved ones, the public is encouraged to share the list across their networks and platforms.
